In Hour Detroit magazine’s Best of Detroit issue, Streetside Seafood was named one of the top three seafood restaurants in the area. On Tuesday, September 17th, the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber hosted Vine & Dine, a social evening of wine and food that benefited the Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan. Bill’s, Cafe ML and Roadside B&G were all there serving some of their signature dishes from their creative menus. All proceeds raised from the event will help the Gleaners Food Bank further their continued mission of ‘Feeding America.’

The diverse wine lists at Bill’s and Streetside Seafood have once again been honored with the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Roberts Restaurant Group is known for their long-standing history of exquisitely curated wine lists and the wine lists at Bill’s and Streetside are no exception. Streetside has won the Award of Excellence for nine consecutive years and Bill’s has been awarded this honor for the second year in a row. Each recipient of this award is handpicked based on their distinct wine selections and how well they match each restaurant’s menu in style and pricing.

On Sunday, June 9, two of the Roberts Restaurant Group restaurants spent the day on the grounds of Meadow Brook Hall & Gardens in Rochester Hills at The Garden Party. This annual fundraising event helps provide trade and culinary school scholarships to underprivileged young adults in the area. During the afternoon of fine wine, delicious food and classic cars, Cafe ML and Streetside Seafood served up some special dishes prepared specifically for The Garden Party.

Roberts Restaurant Group is once again sponsoring free admission to Cranbrook Gardens for the 2019 season. Visitors can explore and enjoy the beautiful 40-acre estate and its beautiful gardens for free from May through October. “We are so thankful for our community and their support, and this partnership with Cranbrook has become a great way to show our appreciation,” says Bill Roberts, proprietor of RRG. Hour Detroit magazine recently showcased Beverly Hills Grill for their take on a renowned brunch favorite: The Bloody Mary. Mixed with a house-infused peppar vodka, the bartenders at BHG give this morning cocktail a remarkably unique twist.

Crystal Proxmire of Oakland County Times recently sat down at Beverly Hills Grill for a fine dining experience with a few friends. Crystal left satisfied saying the food was as “beautiful as the restaurant itself.” Specifically, she felt the Thai Grains Salad with chicken was absolutely wonderful. Bates Street Society will present Bill Roberts, proprietor of the Roberts Restaurant Group, with the 2019 Bates Street Pillar of Vibrancy Award. Each year, Roberts Restaurant Group supports nearly 300 charitable organizations, while also providing food and staff for dozens of additional philanthropic events throughout the community. The Bates Street Society was created in 2015 to help recognize donors who make significant charitable contributions to support the work and mission of The Community House in Birmingham. Roberts will be recognized among other esteemed community members at a formal dinner in early February.
