The Garden Party fundraising event took place on the gorgeous grounds of Meadow Brook Hall & Gardens in Rochester Hills on Sunday, June 11. During the afternoon of classic cars and fine wine, three RRG restaurants – Bill’s, Cafe ML and Streetside Seafood – contributed some of their signature dishes. All proceeds from the event go toward providing trade school scholarships to underprivileged adults in the area.

Roberts Restaurant Group participated in Detroit’s Feed the Need event at the Baldwin Center in Pontiac on May 24. In collaboration with the Feed the Need nonprofit organization, the RRG team worked to relieve some of the burden of soup kitchens and shelters by donating and serving food to those in need.

Roberts Restaurant Group is sponsoring free admission to Cranbrook Gardens for another season, from May through October. All visitors can enjoy Michigan’s finer months at the 40-acre estate for free as a gesture of thanks to the community. For more information about Cranbrook Gardens, please click here.

In early March, Corp! Magazine held its annual Michigan Food & Agriculture awards gala to recognize accomplishments within the industry. Hundreds of local businesses were nominated, but Roberts Restaurant Group was one of a small number of award winners honored for its many accomplishments. Bill Roberts, proprietor of Roberts Restaurant Group, attended the gala and accepted the awards for Restaurant of the Year and for being an Industry Leader. “We were very surprised and honored to receive this recognition,” says Roberts. “Our talented team works diligently to ensure our guests always receive an outstanding dining experience, and this award acknowledges all of our efforts.”

In December, Beverly Hills Grill was named Editor’s Choice by Neighborhood SEEN magazine. This is the magazine’s first annual Editor’s Choice edition, which focuses on a selection of thoughtfully chosen Metro Detroit spots from categories such as style, dining, entertainment, health and beauty. Beverly Hills Grill was chosen in the Foodies category.

In Neighborhood SEEN, Michael Haggerty writes about celebrating his birthday for a full month by dining at all of the RRG Restaurants. He takes readers on a culinary tour, sampling signature appetizers, entrées and desserts. When the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center (BBAC) hosted their annual Shop & Champagne event, Cafe ML was on hand as a signature restaurant sponsor. The annual late-November party kicked off the Birmingham/Bloomfield holiday shopping season with a strolling supper that featured food from some of the area’s best restaurants – including Cafe ML. Champagne in hand, shoppers previewed the Holiday Shop, which included gift items from over 130 artisans. The fundraiser supported the BBAC education and ArtAccess programs.
